Dating back to 1895 The Mouille Point course has a fascinating history and one that transcends several periods of full blown war. The changes undergone by the club over the last century are all incredibly well documented and worn with pride. With 9 holes and 14 greens the course is said to play out very much like an 18 hole and with the various tee options and wind dynamics offering fresh challenges it’s unlikely that you are ever going get too familiar.

 

The year round course is set in an ideal location for residents of Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard cosmopolitan suburbs and is in walking distance of those living in Sea Point, Green Point or at theVictoria & Alfred Waterfront. The club has superb facilities including a stunning clubhouse, bar that overlooks the signature 18th and a fully equipped Pro Shop.

 

Fairways are tailored from kikuyu and the greens are exquisite bent. Four species of indigenous grass have been used in the rough creating an exceptionally distinctive look. Designed by Mark Muller this course with its playability, views and history is an undeniable “must-play.”
