The Erinvale Golf Course occupies some of the finest estate in the Western Cape and enjoys panoramic views over the seaside town of Somerset West, near Cape Town. Players at Erinvale can enjoy the views of changing terrain as the Golf course spills over into forested and residential areas before meeting the expansive False Bay. To the left are clear views of the Hottentots’ Holland Mountain Range which seems to extend endlessly into the Indian Ocean. 
 

Having proudly hosted the World Cup of Golf in 1996 and twice the SAA open of Golf, Erinvale falls into the premium category of course. Designed by Gary Player the courses front and back nine offer completely different experiences as well as challenges as the former takes you through the more residential terrain and the latter carve their way into the slopes of the formidable Helderberg Mountains. Erinvale is sprinkled with water holes and dotted with sand-traps, so keep your eye out and your game on. You are guaranteed to remember this one.
