De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate, the home of the highly esteemed De Zalze Golf Club is situated just outside of Cape Town in the renowned winemaking epicentre of the Western Cape, Stellenbosch. This stunning town plays host to some of the most spectacularly beautiful expanses of land in the Cape and De Zalze is no exception. The course has hosted the World Amateur Championships as well as the largest ever South African Amateur Championships back in 2006.

Course architect Peter Matkovich, designer of the Leopard Rock, Arabella & Pinnacle Point course to name a few, has created a stunning course and succeeded in creating an course where accuracy is valued above all else. 

 

Challenges include the devastatingly well positioned water hazards in combination with parkland holes and the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen River which twists and turns its way into the run of play.
